LONG-TERM OUTCOME 

Philadelphia STEM employers have equitable policies and utilize best practices to recruit, hire, retain, and promote Black, Latinx, and women Philadelphians.

SHORT-TERM OUTCOMES
  • Philadelphia STEM employers identify current policies and practices that increase or inhibit diversity, equity, and inclusion for Black, Latinx, and women Philadelphians in STEM careers (e.g., hiring goals).

MEDIUM-TERM OUTCOMES
  • Philadelphia STEM employers implement and/or or expand recruitment, hiring, retention, and promotion policies and practices that dismantle inequities within their organization.

  • Philadelphia STEM employers hire more Black, Latinx and women Philadelphians into STEM careers

"Philadelphia STEM Equity Week"  Mayoral Proclamation

PSEC is proud to announce that Mayor James Kenney has made a proclamation declaring the week of October 30 as Philadelphia STEM Equity Week, signaling the City of Philadelphia’s commitment to fostering quality education, embracing diversity and supporting our young people to access and thrive in the workforce.
